Automated filling and sealing across two weight bands, on laminate, kraft and resealable pouches.
Tagged and untagged double-chamber bags, enveloped or bulk-boxed, cartoned to your artwork.
Hand-packed gift sets, caddies, sample runs and irregular formats machines can't take.
Your own tea brand produced end to end: blend, artwork, packaging materials, finished cartons.
Outsourcing packing means handing over the last step before your customer opens the box. These are the four things buyers audit us on.
Request an audit packISO 22000:2018 food-safety management, HACCP hazard control and GMP practice. All three are current, all three auditable. We send the certificates with the quote, not after the order.
Gloves, hairnets, stainless surfaces, controlled material flow. Clients are welcome on the floor unannounced; that is the point of the standard.
Weight checks per batch, seal integrity checks per run, documented per consignment. Fifteen years of repeat orders from the same tea companies is the real evidence.
Retail pouches, tea bags, 5kg bulk and full private label under one roof and one certification, so scaling a range doesn't mean qualifying a second supplier.
Tea reached the island in the 1860s, and James Taylor planted the first commercial estate at Loolecondera in 1867. Today Nuwara Eliya, Dimbula, Uva, Kandy and Ruhuna each give a tea its own character, and Ceylon Tea remains one of the most respected marks of origin in the trade.

Every brand we pack carries this heritage. Our job is to protect it: sealing in the freshness, aroma and quality of Ceylon tea so it reaches the world exactly as intended.Read the full story
Every pack below was filled, sealed and cartoned here for a client. The artwork and the brand are theirs; the packing is ours.
These hang on the factory floor in English, Sinhala and Tamil. They are not a marketing exercise; they are what a batch is measured against before it ships.
To be the packaging partner Ceylon's tea brands trust most: the name behind the pack, in every market their tea reaches.
Every pouch, tea bag and carton that leaves this floor carries someone else's name on the front. Our work is to make that name worth more when it goes out than when it came in.

If a batch cannot meet these, we stop the line and put it right. Nothing ships that we would not be willing to put our own name on.
These are our clients' brands, packed by Nimali under contract. Their products are their own; we handle the packing.

Brand names and logos remain the property of their respective owners and are shown here with permission to indicate contract-packing relationships.
Filling lines, tea-bag machines, a manual packing hall and a materials store, all on one certified site in Colombo.
Nimali Tea (Pvt) Ltd has packed tea for other people's brands since 2010. What began as a small manual packing operation in Wellampitiya now runs automated pouch and tea-bag lines for some of the country's best-known tea companies, and produces complete private-label ranges for local and export markets.
We don't sell our own tea. That's deliberate: it means we never compete with the brands that trust us with theirs.

Thirty-plus people across filling, tea bags, manual packing, QC and administration. And one tea break they all take together.
The questions that come up in almost every first conversation. If yours isn't here, put it in the quote form.
Either. For contract packing you send us your blend and we fill, seal and carton it to your artwork. For private label we can source and blend Ceylon tea to your brief and produce the whole range: blend, artwork, packaging materials and finished cartons.
It depends on the format. Automated pouch and tea-bag runs have a higher minimum than hand-packing. Tell us the format and the monthly volume you're planning in the quote form and we'll confirm what's viable.
A tea bag with two sealed compartments instead of one, so water circulates around the leaf on both sides for a faster, fuller brew. We run them tagged or untagged, enveloped or bulk-boxed, in cartons of 25s, 50s and 100s, up to 18 million bags a month.
Pouches from 18g sachets to 5kg bulk, across a retail band (18g–100g) and a bulk band (200g–5kg), on laminate, kraft and resealable film. Tea bags are boxed in 25s, 50s and 100s.
Yes. We pack for both local and export markets under ISO 22000:2018, HACCP and GMP, and we send the certificates with every quote rather than after the order.
We commit to a ship date with the quote and hold it. The lead time depends on the format, the volume, and whether your packaging materials and artwork are ready when the order is placed.
Yes, announced or not. Clients are welcome on the floor at any time; that openness is the point of holding the certification. Everything runs on one certified site in Wellampitiya, Colombo.
No, and that's deliberate. We only pack for other companies, so we never compete with the brands that trust us with theirs.
